Asiya was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding dance. Kelly and I, like many other, had to cut our wedding in half due to the pandemic. We kept our original wedding ...
date in 2020 and celebrated with friends and family at a 2021 reception/celebration/vow renewal. In any case, Asiya was not only so professional that she taught us an amazing first dance… she made is simple enough to remember a year later for the renewal AND she filmed it for us so many times that we could watch ourselves to re-learn.
Her excitement, her precision and her attitude made this a truly enjoyable experience and the result was FANTASTIC!
Definitely 5-stars! I don't believe that there is anyone who can get better or faster results with wedding couples that are novice dancers than Asiya. She is an amazing teacher wit...
h vast experience working with wedding couples. Her experience and talent enable her to quickly figure out how to teach the couple both to look fantastic and to express their feelings for each through the dance. In addition, Asiya is fun to work with. She is very focused and exudes positive energy.
I have been a ballroom dancing client (not a wedding client), but I have seen her working with many wedding couples and have watched many final rehearsals at the end of their lessons. The dances look amazing and watching them is always heartwarming.
If you are more advanced dancers, you should know that Asiya has exceptional expertise. She is a very well-trained and talented dancer in her own right.
When my daughters eventually marry I will definitely be seeking Asiya to choreograph and train us for our father-daughter dances! It is hard to make a more positive recommendation than that!
5 stars all the way!!!!
When I first approached my then fiance about doing a choreographed dance as our first dance, he laughed and said "sure". Little did he know, that choreogr...
aphed dance would turn into a 6 minute 47 second dance with a compilation of our favorite songs, some lifts, some spins, some booty shakes, romance and tons of laughter! Asiya was amazing with not only choreographing the whole dance, but working with us to make sure we had fun and looked perfect! She is so talented and patient! Always smiling and encouraging, even when she could tell that the exhaustion was real!! When the big day came, we kept her words in our minds reminding us to have fun! We not only had fun, we nailed that dance!
Asiya will forever have a special place in our hearts as the person that brought a very magical moment into our lives- our first dance as husband and wife! Is it too early to start planning an anniversary dance? ;)
Asiya and Valeo Dance Studio were amazing! My fiancé and I did a 75 minute intensive to practice our first dance - Asiya taught us a few spins and dips that came together beautiful...
ly in just over an hour. She was prompt in reply, her space is outdoors and we felt totally safe and she is an awesome teacher. Highly recommend!
Asiya is amazing! Highly recommend her. Asiya taught us our wedding dance. We both had no dancing experience, and I (the groom) am not a good dancer. Asiya made us awesome! We're a...
ctually quite proud of what we did. It's incredible how much she taught us and how fast it happened. I didn't think it was possible.
We did the crash course with Asiya a few days before our wedding and it was so worth it!! She transformed us from awkward side swaying to a couple moves that made us so much more ...
confident in our first dance in front of a crowd. Jon and I got the best response at our wedding and so many compliments! Because of COVID, we practiced to our song of choice outdoors and it was a wonderful time spent. Asiya was so cute and bubbly and helped us with great constructive criticism! Would 100% recommend. We really enjoyed her!! - Jonathan & Jennifer
We messaged Valeo a whole week ?! before our wedding to ask if they could help us with a few dance moves ahead of our big day. Aisya was so quick to respond to say they could defin...
itely help us in time. We took a single crash course and went from awkwardly swaying off beat to a confident delivery to our chosen first dance song. I mean, we’re no ballroom dancers now, but we were able to enjoy ourselves and really take in the moment not worrying about looking silly or stepping on each others feet :) couldn’t recommend this more. Special shout out to other #ronabrides the lesson was conducted outside 👍🏼
My fiance and I took the First Dance Wedding Crash Course. We have zero experience with dancing and wanted to do more than the Prom-style dance. Asiya was the perfect teacher! She ...
made us feel comfortable and confident in no time. If we had more time before our wedding, we would have taken more classes. I would 1000% recommend Asiya for wedding dance classes!

he has "two left feet" and by the end of two lessons, he looked like a pro! Most importantly, we had a blast doing it!
My fiance and I took the first dance crash course and it was well worth it! We were both nervous about our first dance coming from little dancing experience, but Asiya helped us fe...
el confident and excited. Asiya makes you feel very comfortable and classes with her are so much fun! Asiya records a video of your first dance with her commentary and instruction so you can practice on our own. After this class, we feel fully prepared. Thank you Asiya! We will be back for more. I recommend Asiya one thousand percent.
I cannot recommend Asiya enough!! Seriously, my fiancé and I had horrible anxiety about our first dance and she helped us to feel confident and excited! We took four personalized l...
essons and went from looking like we had never met to dancing with ease and excitement! I also took a lesson with my dad and he had so much fun! So much so that I’m thinking of getting my parents lessons as a Christmas gift. Asiya was seriously amazing and I recommend everyone go to take lessons with her!
Are you a guy? Not into dancing? Getting married? Go to Asiya and she'll make life so much easier. My now-wife and I enjoyed each lesson with Asiya. She's fun, understanding, and j...
ust great at what she does. Our friends and family were truly impressed with our dancing to "As Time Goes By" and it's essentially all thanks to Asiya. Might even book more lessons as a gift...never thought I'd enjoy it so much (or basically at all). Just go.

o confident! We had 0 dance experience before the class and now we know twirls, spins and lifts that we can use for the rest of our lives beyond our first dance! Asiya is an incredible teacher with the best personality--I could not recommend her more!! Telling all my friends there is no one else you should use for your first dance!
Where do I even begin? Asiya was a fantastic choreographer and teacher. We had a special requirement of two small dance routines for our wedding afterparty - a waltz and a 90s Boll...
ywood number. In spite of not knowing the Bollywood song in advance, Asiya came up with an energetic sequence. My partner and I are not trained dancers. Even then. she was able to create an interesting and unique routine.
Asiya was prompt to reply and was receptive to our ideas. She was cognizant of cultural nuances and respectful at all times. We were struggling to find a choreographer who would be able to incorporate both songs into our first dance. We made the right choice by selecting Valeo Dance Studio.
Our guests were completely floored. So much so that they expect us to dance at every future function from now on. :) A relative of mine was so impressed with our dance that he said he wants to get married again just to be able to learn and perform a similar routine with his wife!
I am so happy my husband and I took first dance lessons at Valeo. Asiya, the owner and instructor, is incredibly talented and fun to be around. We have no prior dance experience an...
d at times, for my husband, it was incredibly frustrating. She was so patient with both of us. From the moment we walked in, she listened to exactly what we wanted. Within moments, we were practicing. She wastes no time- every minute you pay for, you are learning or practicing. We had the choice of a full choreographed dance or learning dance skills (box step, spins, twirls, dips, and basic lifts) with a semi-choreographed, more natural-looking routine. We chose the latter, so that we could utilize what she taught us for a lifetime. On wedding day, our family and friends were so excited and shocked to see us out there, dipping and spinning. It was, overall, an excellent experience. Would recommend Valeo (and Asiya) without hestitation.
My husband and I had such a great time learning steps to our first dance for our wedding that were perfectly elegant and not too choreographed thanks to Asiya’s professional assis...
tance!!! These lessons were an amazing gift from my mother and she picked the best studio! Asiya could not have been more enthusiastic, positive and inspirational! Thank you!!!

ion which was perfect! Asiya makes these lessons so much fun and our guests couldn't rave enough about how awesome our first dance was! She did a great job gauging our musicality/dancing abilities and created a dance that was perfect for us and so memorable. What an awesome way to get the reception started on the right foot. Thank you, Asiya!!

sons! I purchased the package of 4 dance lessons with Asiya after reading her incredible reviews on the knot. This money was well spent! Like others have said, the dance lessons ended up being one of our favorite aspects of wedding planning! Asiya is so encouraging and always makes you feel good about your dance moves and yourself! She helped us create the exact type of dance we requested. She was always positive and is a very gifted teacher. We are SO happy we went with Asiya for our dance lessons and can't wait to perform our first dance at our wedding!
Asiya was amazing and so helpful with our first dance!!! I didn’t want us to look like two middle schoolers at a dance and thanks to Asiya, we didn’t!!! I never felt intimidated be...
cause we didn’t have any kind of training and the way she explains things made everything that much easier!!! She also was accommodating to my husbands bad knees and my shoulder issues from a car accident. I am getting my parents a gift card as a thank you gift for our wedding. Seriously could not be happier!!!

She is full of energy and very professional too.

Asiya was an amazing instructor! My husband and I had no clue what to do for our first dance. We picked “Can’t My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli which is not a song that you can ju...
st sway along to. After meeting with Asiya for the first time I could tell she was going to make this dance amazing. Taking dance classes became my favorite part of wedding planning. It was fun, stress-free and gave us something to practice between sessions. Our dance was a huge success. Everyone was so impressed and I could not be happier with the outcome!!!! Highly recommend taking classes with Asiya!
We cannot say enough great things about Asiya! She taught us a great intro and ending to our selected song and then several basic dance steps to use throughout the middle part of t...
he song. We used the basic dance steps later that night at our wedding on the dance floor and again on our honeymoon when we danced at a bar one night. Best of all, our lessons were fun! We looked forward to the break from the last minute planning details and the chance to connect with each other. We found Asiya through The Knot recommendations and now we highly recommend her to others.
Asiya's instruction is not just for coaching brides and grooms for their first dance: My husband and I, married 49 years (without ever dancing,) were able to show off our dancing ...
skills at our daughter's wedding. Thanks to Asiya's excellent teaching, we were able to catch the rhythm in almost every song and carry on as if we knew what we were doing!
My husband's dance with our daughter was lovely as he deftly twirled her out and back in to much applause. We then promenaded and dipped and foxtrotted most of the night away. It was glorious, and all thanks to Asiya's encouraging help.
We appreciated her kindness and patience with us as we so s-l-o-w-l-y caught on to the simplest of steps. After 6 lessons we were able to feel confident. Without Asiya's instruction the wedding would not have been half as much fun for us.

Asiya is the ONLY dance instructor you should be considering. She is genuine, extremely patient, highly motivating, and of course masterfully skilled. My wife and I walked into our...
first class with zero dance experience, and after our classes with Asiya, ended up with a wedding first dance that was perfect, magical, and impressive to everyone. Asiya carefully and patiently walked us through step by step, all the while keeping us motivated and encouraged. And above all, it was crazy amounts of FUN. We cannot thank Asiya enough for the wedding dance of our dreams.
Asiya was so fun to work with for our wedding/first dance! She listened to what we wanted, crafted a dance that was perfectly suited to our personalities and skill levels, and she ...
was efficient with our time during each lesson. Her upbeat personality and clear expertise in dance make her a joy to work with. Highly recommended.
I really wish we had a "before" video to show how much we progressed, because we were really that bad. I am amazed that after only 4 lessons we not only improved exponentially, but...
have enough comfort and confidence that we know our first dance is going to be great. We had a ton of fun learning with Asiya who is a great teacher/coach and patient as can be.
Asiya is so much fun! My fiancé and I bought 4 one-hour lessons, and Asiya helped us go from very little proficiency to having a toolkit of moves and partially choreographed but na...
tural first dance for our wedding. She is incredibly nice and has a great personality, and made the process really fun for us. She knows her stuff well and was able to teach us fundamentals as well as sprinkle in more technical / nuanced instruction. The online booking system makes scheduling or rescheduling appointments easy, and the studio (which is very nice) is conveniently located right near the center of Buckhead. We would definitely recommend Asiya for any couple considering taking dance lessons for their first dance at their wedding
Asiya is an amazing teacher! We did a four class private dance lesson package with her to prepare for our wedding. She quickly assessed my minimal level of dance competence (and my...
wife-to-be's far greater talents) and developed a routine for us based on a very specific song that was fun, easy to learn, and looked great. She's supportive, open to input and extremely enthusiastic. She made taking the classes extremely fun to! I couldn't recommend her any higher if you're looking to do your own wedding dance lessons and need someone to give you something that will look great in person and on camera. In fact, my wife loved the classes so much that she's now planning to take additional dance classes to up her hip hop dancing skills.
Asiya is a incredible instructor. She made my son and I feel at ease the moment we walked in. We were able to learn and practice our dance, while having a TON of fun. Asiya gave us...
the confidence and encouragement we needed. Thank You!
I echo my son's comments. Our time with Asiya was productive and informative, but more importantly, tons of fun! That mother/son dance will be far less intimating now! Thank you...
Asiya. We'll be recommending you to many more brides and grooms!

We HIGHLY recommend Valeo Dance Studio for all your dancing needs!!!

Asiya is the best! I found her here on the Knot and from the very first meeting she made us feel so comfortable. She asked us what we were looking for and worked with us with what ...
we wanted to do! If we were up for a full choreographed dance she was ready to go if we wanted more relaxed that was ok too! She adjusts to what the couple wants. We chose a more relaxed dance, we wanted to get the beautiful picture moments of the dip and twirls and we did! We just got our pictures and video back and the first dance made all the difference in our pictures and video looking flawless. I can’t recommend her more - beyond worth it!!!! Best in Atlanta hands down!!
